Booking

The reservation becomes firm when a deposit of the price of the stay has been returned to ESCAPADE within 7 days of the contract being sent. After this period, the contract is considered as cancelled and the reserved place is again offered for sale. For bookings made less than 30 days before the start of the holiday, full payment of the holiday is required at the time of booking. Holiday vouchers are accepted. 

Arrivals

The client must arrive on the day and time mentioned. A delay of 24 hours is allowed. After this period, and without notice to ESCAPADE, the reservation will be cancelled. No refund will be made. 

During the summer school holidays, stays start at 4pm and end at 10am on the last day. Arrivals and departures are on Saturday. If you arrive before 4pm, your accommodation may not be ready. Outside of these periods, accommodation options are mentioned in our brochure.

No refunds will be given for early departure.

In boarding: the first service is the dinner (except in special cases mentioned on the booking contract) and the last service, on the day of departure, the lunch. However, we can offer you, after agreement with our booking department, a service adapted to the organisation of your trip (possible supplement to be paid on the spot). 

Reception in the Residences takes place until 8 pm. After this time, no reception is possible.

Cancellation

More than 45 days before the date, 5% of the total amount of the stay will be retained.

Between 45 days and more than 30 days before the departure date, 25% of the total amount of the stay will be retained. 

Between 30 days and 10 days before the departure date, 50% of the total amount of the stay will be retained.

10 days before the departure date, 100% of the total amount of the stay will be retained.

Non-appearance, without agreement with the reservation, within 24 hours of the start date of the stay, and/or renunciation and/or interruption of the stay in progress, is equivalent to a cancellation. 

Modification

In the event that ESCAPADE or the service provider modifies the essential elements of the holiday before it begins, the client may, within 7 days of being informed:

or terminate the booking and the deposit paid will be returned in full,

or agree to participate in the modified stay by signing an amendment to the contract, specifying the changes made and the reduction or increase in price that they entail. 

You are responsible for the upkeep of your accommodation during your stay. To ensure that the next tenants are welcomed, your accommodation must be left clean when you leave. For your convenience, we offer a cleaning package for a fee: consult the reception of your residence. 

Benefits

Baby cots and chairs can be hired at the reception of your residence.

Content of the stays  

In Meymac, Montendre les Pins, Buis les Baronnies or Verdun: an equipped flat is available. Sheets and towels are not provided (can be hired on site). 

Room rental in Vaison la Romaine: provision of a room equipped with bathroom and toilet, sheets and towels provided – beds not made. Breakfasts not included (to be specified when booking) 

Full board and half board: type of accommodation according to the number of people. Sheets provided, towels provided (except in special cases mentioned in the quotation or booking contract). Meals ordered but not consumed cannot be reimbursed. 

Deposit

A deposit of 160 € will be required on arrival and will be returned on departure, provided that the accommodation is left clean and that the equipment is complete and in good condition. The inventory of fixtures is scheduled on the day of arrival and the day of departure. In the event of a nightly or early departure without an inventory of fixtures, the deposit will be retained and returned at a later date, subject to possible deductions for cleaning or repairs. The decision to leave without an inventory of fixtures is tantamount to acceptance of ESCAPADE’s decision on the possible retention of all or part of the deposit. 

Insurance

Insurance, repatriation and cancellation guarantees are not included. The management of our facilities cannot be held responsible for thefts or damage to personal objects both inside and outside the Holiday Residences. It is not advisable to bring valuables or large sums of money. Holidaymakers in the “ESCAPADE” holiday residences are covered by the operator’s civil liability insurance for any physical or material damage for which “ESCAPADE” is held responsible during their stay.

Cancellation insurance

Escapade, in collaboration with Mondial Assistance, strongly advises you to take out a cancellation insurance policy offering guarantees. This insurance is optional and can be taken out on request. 

Municipal tourist tax

On all holiday sites, the mayor has issued a decree requiring holidaymakers to pay a tourist tax. The amount of this tax must be paid on site.   

Pets

Pets are accepted in our establishments (except in Buis les Baronnies and Les 7 Laux). This welcome implies the respect of strict rules: One pet per accommodation, presentation of the vaccination booklet… Please refer to our brochure.

Complaint

Any complaint relating to a stay must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 15 days after the end of the stay.
