Setting off from Lé Moulis Holiday Village at Verdun Lauragais, we were in for an extraordinary evening …
We got to Carcassonne in the early afternoon and enjoyed strolling around the medieval streets of the city, where we saw a display of falconry and a combat reconstruction … we felt as though we'd stepped right back into the middle ages!
To top it all off, we had the pleasure of watching the City's ceremonial fireworks, an internationally-renowned display that lasts 25 minutes – pure happiness!
