Each year, during the last weekend of August, the streets here fill with revellers who converge on Castelnaudary to celebrate the region's famous dish Cassoulet.

Castelnaudary is considered the world capital of Cassoulet and at this lively Festival, people of all ages get together in traditional colours - blue and white - to eat, drink, sing and dance in a family-friendly party atmosphere.
